Lea walked around, rather aimlessly, as she took in the sights of all of the cabins and scenery around her. Mutants were walking around freely and none seemed to be even trying to hide their mutations. Lea pulled her tail out of her pants and let it hang loose behind her as she grinned, feeling more relaxed than ever.

Alder was playing around near the lake, chasing after dragonflies and giggling.

Lea kept walking with her hands casually in her pants pockets, smiling as she felt the heat of the day on her shoulders and back. She caught sight of a lake nearby and while she wasn't much of a swimmer, she liked the idea of at least checking it out.

Alder was purring happily, pawing at a dragonfly. He looked up with curiosity as he saw a girl coming towards him. His mutations were fully exposed at the moment.

Lea caught sight of a boy near the lakeside and could tell by his small physical mutations that he had to have some cat genes in him. She felt more comfortable knowing he was part cat and could tell that he was definitely younger than her. She walked up to the boy and smiled kindly at him before saying, "Hey, what's your name? I like your cat ears."

Alder blushed a bit, talking to girls wasn't his strong suit. "I-I'm Alder..." he said, his tail swishing.

Lea grinned at Alder's tail and flicked her tail out to the side so he could see it. "Hey, we both have tails, Alder." She paused and then said, "Oh, and my name's Lea."

Alder blushed more. "Oh..." he said, unsure of himself.

Lea bit her lip as she wondered what to say next. The kid wasn't giving her much to work with. She remembered seeing him chasing a dragonfly though. She looked around her and spotted a butterfly near some trees. She pointed it out to Alder and said, "Uh, hey want to chase the butterfly together?" She was starting to feel awkward and had no idea how chasing a butterfly together would even work properly.

Alder blushed even more. "O-okay.."

Lea blinked at Alder as she realized that he wasn't probably going to move. Sighing to herself, and willing her inner kid to come out, she started heading towards the butterfly. She hoped that Alder would follow her and not just run away.

Alder quietly followed, finding himself fascinated by Lea's tail.

Lea curiously peered over her shoulder to see Alder behind her, watching her tail. She grinned and flicked her tail back and forth, amused by Alder's curiosity.

Alder kept his eyes on it, reaching out to gently bat at it.

Lea bit her lip to keep herself from laughing out loud as she felt Alder batting her tail. She kept flicking it about as they got close to where the butterfly was flying about.

Alder kept batting at it gently, half-aware that it was Lea's tail. He was smiling slightly, his own tail waving excitedly.

Lea couldn't help but giggle aloud at Alder's batting. She then paused as the butterfly that had been flying around had landed on her shoulder.

This caught Alder's attention as well. He climbed onto Lea's back, his attention focused on the butterfly.

Lea froze with her eyes slightly wide as Alder climbed onto her back. Her first move of choice was to throw him off of her in a defensive manner, her rational thinking stopped her as she knew he was hardly a threat to her.

Alder gently pawed at the butterfly, then stopped, blushing bright red as he realized where he was. "S-sorry..." he said, climbing down.

Lea grinned at Alder and said, "Hey, Hakuna Matata. You were just having some fun."

Alder tilted his head. "Ha-ku-na Ma-ta-ta?"

Lea kept grinning and said, "It means no worries!"

Alder smiled a bit and nodded. "Okay." He tilted his head, looking her over. "Uh, what kind of mutant are you?"

Lea smiled and said, "I'm part lion. I also got another mutation called leucism. That caused my hair and tail to turn white. It also caused my eyes to turn blue."

Alder nodded. "That's cool. I'm just some domestic cat..."

Lea frowned slightly at how Alder had announced his mutation. He definitely didn't sound pleased with his mutations. "Hey now, you can't dislike your mutations. You are who you are now, so you might as well find the best in what you're stuck with."

Alder sighed. "Yeah, but you've got that cool lion mutation, and I know a guy who's part wolf..." His ears drooped a bit.

Lea perked up at this, her curiosity starting to kick in, and asked Alder, "Do you now? Is he here at the camp too?"

Alder nodded. "Yeah. We're in the same cabin."

Lea nodded at this and said, "Oh, that's nice." She then realized she had no idea where her cabin even was. "Uh, hey Alder...do you know where the Corvus cabins are?"

Alder nodded. "Sure, that's the one I'm in."

Alder smiled, purring a bit.

Lea grinned at Alder's purring and said, "Well then Alder. Lead the way."

Alder nodded, leading her away from the lake and towards the forest.

Lea followed after him and curiously looked at everything around her, fascinated by everything that was new to her.

Alder led her to the Corvus cabin, smiling at her. "Here we are!"

Lea smiled gratefully at Alder and said, "Thanks. I really need to learn how to get around here."

Alder smiled at her. "Don't worry, you'll learn how this place is set up soon enough."

Lea grinned at Alder and nodded before saying, "Well, I guess I'm good to go for now. Unless you happen to know where the combat training and music classes are around here. I'm going to need to know where those are soon enough."

Alder shrugged. "I don't know those..." he said.

Lea shrugged and said, "Hakuna matata. I'll figure out where those are when I need to find them. Thanks again for the help."

Alder smiled. "No problem," he said.

Lea didn't know what else to do or say so she decided to head inside of her cabin, and new home.

Alder decided to climb up one of the nearby trees, sitting on one of the branches.
